BOOTH TYPES AND LINE OF SIGHT RULES

LINEAR/ INLINE BOOTHS

  • Arranged in a straight line and will have neighboring booths on the left and right side
  • Sometimes backing onto another inline row
  • Standard height of 8ft is allowed along the back wall and 5ft from the aisle on either side
  • The front 5ft of side walls are restricted to a height of 4ft for line-of-sight

CORNER BOOTHS

  • End booth in a row of linear booths, with two open sides
  • Standard height of 8ft is allowed along the back wall and 5ft from the aisle on either side
  • The front 5ft of the side wall is restricted to 4ft height for line-of-sight

END-CAP BOOTHS

  • Usually placed in the position of a peninsula booth (but with two or more booths directly behind), with three open sides
  • The central 50% of the back wall can be built to the standard height of 8ft
  • The remaining back wall within 5ft of the aisles is restricted to 4ft height for line-of-sight

PENINSULA BOOTHS

  • Open on three sides with a full back wall (either backing on to another peninsula boot or a single row of linear booths)
  • Standard height of 8ft is permitted on the back wall and 50% of each side
  • Enclosing walls are restricted to up to 50% of the length of the side of the booth
  • No line-of-sight restrictions for the rear wall of this this booth type

ISLAND BOOTHS

  • Four open sides
  • Any enclosing walls installed are restricted to up to 50% of the length of the side of the booth
  • No line-of-sight restrictions for this booth type

50% RULE

  • Enclosing walls (i.e., directly onto an aisle) must not exceed 50% length of the side of the booth and should be made to look interesting from the aisle/ to the neighboring booths.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • All contracts are for raw floor space only; all booths must have walls and carpet
  • All booths must also have their company name and booth number displayed
    • If you are a booth package exhibitor, the official decorator will supply a company ID sign
    • If you are a self-build or custom-build exhibitor, your booth number will need to be incorporated into the design of your booth
  • Booth package exhibitors must complete COMPULSORY BOOTH FORM 1 no later than August 25
  • Self-build exhibitors must complete COMPULSORY BOOTH FORM 2 no later than August 11
  • Custom-build exhibitors must complete COMPULSORY BOOTH FORM 3 no later than August 11

BUILD HEIGHTS

  • Standard heights are 8ft for back walls and 4ft for side walls
  • Maximum booth build height is 20ft (subject to approval from show management)
  • The 20′ maximum booth build height is inclusive of hanging banners also (the top of the banner should not be higher than 20′)

CARPET AND FLOORING

  • All booths must have carpet/ flooring
    • Carpet/ flooring must fully cover the booked booth space
  • Floor coverings must be installed using fixing tape that does not leave a residue/ cause damage to the fabric of the building
    • The double-faced tape used for the installation of exhibitor carpet must be Kendall Polyken #105 or an approved equal.
    • All tape and any residue marks must be removed from the floor and disposed of immediately after the event, failure to do so may result in a fee
  • Raised flooring should include a wheelchair ramp with a gradient no greater than 1:12 ratio and a width no less than 5ft
  • You can order a booth package, inclusive of carpet and furnishings, from AGS via this manual

CUSTOM-BUILD AND SELF-BUILD BOOTHS

  • Custom-Build Booths
    • You are welcome to appoint your own contractor to install your custom-build booth
    • You must ensure your contractor is familiar with the contents of the exhibitor manual and these display rules & regulations
  • Self-Build Booths
    • You are welcome to install your walling and flooring yourselves
    • You must ensure you are familiar with the contents of this exhibitor manual and these display rules & regulations
  • The following documents must be submitted for review, no later than August 11:
    • Scale drawings, including plan views and elevations
    • Plan showing location of booth within the exhibition hall
    • Construction Phase Risk Assessment
    • Method Statement
    • Proof of Insurance
    • Fire Safety Certificate
  • Authorization to Build will only issued upon receipt and review of the applicable documentation
  • Please submit these documents directly to operations@event-partners.com or via the BOOTH PLANS INSPECTION FORM

HANGING BANNERS

  • Linear/ Inline Booths: not permitted
  • Corner booths: permitted for booths 400sqft and over. Branded elements to be positioned 10ft from neighbors
  • End-Cap Booths: permitted for booths 400sqft and over. Branded elements to be positioned 10ft from neighbors
  • Peninsula Booths: branded elements to be positioned 10ft from neighbors
  • Island Booths: branded elements to be positioned 10ft from neighbors
  • Permission must be gained from the Organizer for all hanging banner installations at least sixty (60) days in advance
  • The 20′ maximum booth build height is inclusive of hanging banners also (the top of the banner should not be higher than 20′)

WALLS

  • All booths must have walls
  • Dividing walls must be installed to the full length of all closed sides; where your stand adjoins a neighboring stand
  • Pop-up displays, roll-up banners, stand-alone graphics (e.g. tension fabric walls with frames) etc., are not considered walling and must be accompanied by a custom-build or a booth package from AGS Expo
  • Use of your neighbor’s walls is not permitted
  • The back of walls installed from a height of 8ft are to be made good i.e., have clean, seamless, and neutral surfaces and be finished to a high standard
  • No branding to overlook a neighboring booth and no wiring to be on show
